The Beatles

Nearly three decades after the original release, The Beatles Anthology is making a grand comeback this fall with a host of refreshed content across multiple formats.

The eight-part documentary series, first broadcast in 1995, has been meticulously restored and remastered and will debut on Disney+ starting November 26. The enhanced edition, overseen by Peter Jackson’s Wingnut Films and Apple Corps, includes a brand-new ninth episode featuring previously unseen 1994–1995 footage of Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr reflecting on their past together  .

On the same wave of nostalgia, the Anthology music collection is being relaunched. On November 21, fans can expect a deluxe set featuring four volumes—the three original remastered albums plus a new Anthology 4, which boasts 13 previously unreleased demos and session recordings, as well as updated mixes of reunion-era singles “Free As a Bird” and “Real Love.” The 2023 track “Now and Then,” often referred to as the band’s final song, is also included, rounding out a total of 191 tracks across vinyl, CD, and digital formats  .

Completing the trilogy of releases is the 25th anniversary edition of The Beatles Anthology book, arriving on October 14. The 368-page volume is rich with over 1,300 photos, archival documents, and personal reflections from the band and their collaborators, offering a vivid, insider’s portrait of their journey  .
