Kirsten Bell’s daughters refrained from giving their mom the stamp of approval on the sizzling red dress she recently wore.
“My kids told me it was too sexy to wear out of the house,” the “Happy Place” actress told Access Hollywood at Thursday’s red carpet “Nobody Wants This” Season 2 premiere.
“They said, ‘You can’t wear that’ — I said, ‘Watch me!’” Bell, 45, joked of daughters Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 10.

The scarlet red dress featured a plunging neckline, spaghetti straps, sheer lace details, and a backless design. The actress accessorized with chic black heels, and wore her blond locks in simple waves.
Bell took to Instagram on Friday to share pics and video clips from the Netflix event wearing the crimson frock alongside her co-stars, including Adam Brody and Justine Lupe, among others. The series premiere debuts on the streaming giant on Oct. 23.
In the comments thread, fans gushed over the uploads. “Taken the day off work on thursday, it’s that serious😌” one follower wrote, while another added, “Can’t wait!! Rewatched season 1 again!!”

The actress — who has been married to Dax Shepard since 2013 — scored her first Emmy nomination for her role in the series in July.
Shepard took to Instagram to celebrate the achievement with a risqué pic of his wife doing yoga in the sunshine, clothing-free.
“People might not know everything that happens behind the scenes in order to create an Emmy nominated performance like Kristen’s,” he captioned the photo, which was edited with a red square over the actress’s rear end.

On Friday, the “Frozen” voice actress took to the same platform to wish her husband a happy anniversary with a humorous post.
“Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: ‘I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I’m heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would’❤️” she captioned the post, alongside a pic of the pair in an intimate embrace.
