Nate who? Anne Hathaway’s Andy Sachs has a new leading man in her life.

On Tuesday, Aug. 5, the actress, 42, was spotted on the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2 with her new costar Patrick Brammall in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The pair, who are playing love interests in the upcoming sequel of the 2006 classic, appeared deep in character as they locked hands and walked the streets of New York.

Hathaway, who is reprising her role of Andy, had a big grin on her face as she sported a shiny blue dress with matching eyeshadow and wore her hair down in loose waves with a middle part.

New to the cast, Brammall, 49, wore a tailored navy blue suit with a light blue dress shirt as he embraced his leading lady.

The two were also snapped laughing together and sharing a sweet hug, with Brammall twirling Hathaway around.

Last month, PEOPLE reported that Brammall was tipped to play Andy’s lover in the new movie, with a source telling Entertainment Weekly that the Australian actor — known for roles in GlitchOffspring and Colin from Accounts — would be replacing her previous boyfriend from the first film, Nate Cooper (Adrian Grenier).

In the original 2006 film, Andy experienced a breakdown in her relationship with Nate after she became consumed with her job as an assistant to Runway editor Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep).

Andy’s chef boyfriend faced a lot of scrutiny from fans, with many saying he wasn’t supportive of his girlfriend.

Speaking to  Entertainment Weekly in 2021, Grenier revealed he was surprised when fans branded his character as the true villain of the movie.

“All those memes that came out were shocking to me,” he said at the time. “It hadn’t occurred to me until I started to really think about it … in many ways he’s very selfish and self-involved, it was all about him, he wasn’t extending himself to support Andy in her career.”

In addition to Hathaway, Streep, 76, Emily Blunt (Emily Charlton), and Stanley Tucci (Nigel) will be returning for the highly-anticipated sequel.

The new movie will follow Priestly “as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and as she faces off against Blunt’s character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs,” according to Variety.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is set to hit theaters May 1, 2026.
